Clean up, get organized, help the local community!
- We will NOT be taking batteries or CFL light bulbs this year. CFL lightbulbs can be taken to Home Depot.

- Kane County Recycles will be holding their Recycling Extravaganza the same day as the GreenFest, on June 11th. Please go their website: http://www.countyofkane.org/Recycling/Pages/electronics/electronicsBooks.aspx to find out what they are accepting. You can recycle there and then come to the GreenFest!
Host: American Association of University Women (AAUW)
They will be accepting used books for their book sale later this summer. All proceeds go to scholarships for women.
Cell Phones & Smart Phones
Host: Mutual Ground – Healing for Domestic Abuse Survivors (Aurora, IL)
Phones are wiped of data and refurbished to provide emergency phones for job interviews and family support. If phones cannot be refurbished they are responsibly recycled.
Drugs & Medications
Host: Fox Metro Water District (Montgomery, IL)
Please do not flush old unwanted medications down the toilet, where they pollute our drinking water. No controlled substances, thank you! Take those to the Aurora Police Department.
RECYCLING Collection List
Bring CLEAN foam with “#6” imprinted: cups, containers, egg cartons, and packaging.
